About Us

WHO ARE WE?

We are an awesome bunch of Year 6 learners from St Joseph's School in Oamaru- a little town in the beautiful South Island of New Zealand. We are part of a learning hub made up of 90 learners from years 6-8, and 3 awesome teachers- Mr Moore (Year 8 Homeroom Teacher), Miss Tangney (Year 7 Homeroom Teacher), and Miss Huls (Year 6 Hoomeroom Teacher and our Hub Leader). Learning in this new Engaging Learning Space/ Hub environment means we get to learn from different teachers and in different groups of learners all the time. We focus on independent learning supported by devices and online documents, and learner agency- meaning that we, as the students have a voice in our learning. We have a lot of fun and achieve some seriously amazing learning! Check us out!
